Philip Evans

Chief Financial Officer

Phil joined Emerald in October 2013 and serves as chief financial officer, with responsibility for finance, accounting, and facilities. He has over 30 years’ experience in financial roles, including seven years in public accounting in the UK, three of these with EY. During his 16 year career with Reed Elsevier he relocated to the United States to join their LexisNexis division. Phil subsequently served as CFO of several companies, most recently ProQuest, a leading provider of online information to researchers. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO). Phil holds a BA from the University of Lancaster and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Phil’s interests include golf, cycling, skiing and running. He lives in Park City, UT with his wife, Deborah.
