Eric Lisman

EVP – Corporate Development

Eric joined Emerald in March 2017 and serves as Executive Vice President – Corporate Development, leading the company’s M&A and corporate development activities.  Over the course of a 30-year media industry career, Eric has successfully operated at major media companies in a variety of senior positions, including Chief Executive Officer of ENK International, EVP – Corporate Development of Advanstar Communications, and SVP & General Counsel of Reed Exhibitions and Cahners Publishing Company.  He also founded and operated Media Front, a strategic and transaction consulting firm serving the tradeshow and media industry.  Eric has completed more than 150 acquisitions and 50 divestitures of exhibition, conference, publishing, online and other media properties and companies. 

Eric is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Harvard Law School.  He lives in Sudbury, MA with his wife and two sons, all of whom are avid fans of the 6-time Super Bowl Champion Patriots.
